Cypress Cyber Security Overview
Executive Level Consulting on Corporate Risk
Although we view the main recipients of our cybersecurity services as the C-Suite executive leadership or the corporate board, we are familiar with the need to build and sustain a trusted relationship with other corporate stakeholders across critical functional areas such as supply chain, manufacturing, IP creation and protection, corporate security (to include IT security). We start by conducting a series of initial briefings with the C-Suite executive leadership or the corporate board, as well as other corporate stakeholders. These briefings have two broad objectives.
- Provide detailed information briefings on the nature of the cyber threat; current and likely future regulatory, policy, legal, and procedural frameworks that exist in the environment pertinent to the company, and finally current US government organizations and activities associated with cyber security.
- Clearly defining Corporate Risk by working directly with the corporate executive leadership teams or corporate boards via a mix of interviews and written responses to discern what corporate data and processes are most critical to sustaining core business operations, what core corporate data and intellectual property is most sensitive and necessary to protect in terms of not allowing it to be accessed by competitors, the sensitivity of corporate value and reputation to assuring stockholders and clients that the client has sound internal security processes, can protect its core internal data and processes, and can produce products that are not at risk to cyber security vulnerabilities.
