With nearly 35 years of experience in the Department of Defense operations and modernization portfolios, as well as recent experience in business development with clients operating in the Defense industry, Brian's areas of expertise includes Long Range Precision Fires, Air and Missile Defense, Joint and Combined Operations, Installation Services and Warfighting Requirements. He also has a deep understanding of market prioritization and capture of Department of Defense opportunities.
Before joining Cypress International, Brian served at all levels in the Department of Defense in operational and institutional organizations with extensive experience in Army, Joint, and Coalition settings. As the Commander of the Fires Center of Excellence, he served as the modernization proponent for the Army's Artillery and Air and Missile Defense forces. He also served as Deputy Commander for the Army's Rapid Response Corps and Senior Commander of Fort Bragg, North Carolina where he oversaw the operations and readiness of the Nation's premier strategic Force Projection platform.
In his current role he has managed client relationships with both large and small Aerospace and Defense companies helping them sustain and grow their business in support of the national defense. Based on his years of experience in a variety of operational environments and his intimate knowledge of the requirements development process, he brings unique perspective and invaluable insights concerning the DoD customer's requirements.
